Personality

Shang Qinghua comes off as an overworked, over-tired logistics and accounting type, always busy and never staying still for too long out of necessity. Not that he doesn't love taking the chance to be lazy and do nothing, but it never really lasts for very long. To most, he'll hide his anger behind a subservient, polite smile, and do his best to do what's asked of him, but the few people who know him, know he can be quite vindictive, petty, and immature. He enjoys memes and stupid jokes, and bad writing, both reading and writing it. He was a prolific author of stallion harem novel porn in his past life, and still delights in thinking up new trash to put out into the world. He can also be fairly clever and useful, he is a competent logistician, but his memory isn't always the best. To those who earn it from him, or those who are useful to him, Shang Qinghua can be quite loyal, though none will ever sway him from his King.

Abilities

Cultivation / Golden Core

Shang Qinghua has cultivated his qi to the point of forming a golden core, and reaching "immortality". Thanks to his high cultivation, he doesn't age, always looking somewhere in his mid to late 20s, can use qi to speed up healing his body/injuries, can practice inedia (go for long periods of time without eating or drinking) even if he hates it, and use qi to more quickly process poisons and drugs out of his system. He's not particularly adept, these are more general skills that all cultivators of his level have. Qi is sort of a general bullshit energy-powers system, and can be used for various things, like Shen Qingqiu's turn-leaves-into-flying-knives trick, or just firing off blasts from the hands or feet.

Spiritual Sword

No one really seems to know the name of Shang Qinghua's sword, and he doesn't use it often enough for it to come up, so I don't really have a headcanon name for it either. In situations where he has his sword, which isn't often - either he doesn't carry it because he's not expecting to need it, or he doesn't draw it because it'd make a bigger target of himself. If he has it, he can fly balanced on the blade, can control it independently of himself, and fling energy attacks with it. Just not very well. Though he is quite good at flying, that's more to run away.

Talismans & Arrays

Shang Qinghua can write talismans to do various things, and use qi to activate them. Fire talismans are a pretty common one. He can also create and activate complicated arrays, such as the three-point soul transfer array he helped Shen Qingqiu with. He likely has some theoretical knowledge of other talismans/arrays/techniques (since he wrote the world and all its stupid mechanics) that other characters use.

Exorcisms & Purification

One of the main jobs of a cultivator is to protect humans by exorcising ghosts, purifying corrupted energies, and hunting demons, monsters, and zombies. Shang Qinghua would know how to do these things, though in practice, he just gets brought along on missions to drive the cart, carry the luggage, and arrange the lodgings.

Physical Strength

Shang Qinghua is stronger than your average human thanks to years of hard labor. He's bitter about it, and too cowardly to fight in 99% of cases, but he can still throw someone around a bit.
